I met Ray earlier this year. We are colleagues in the semi conductor industry. Timing worked out and I had the honor to photography Ray and Julies traditional Taiwan wedding. Yes, this is in Taiwan.
The city: Tiachung City. It is located about 1/2 down the island from Taipei.
We started at 5:30 am. Julie was all ready in the make up chair. What was not mentioned to me was the number of dresses; 3 to be exact and 2 pairs of shoes plus all of the jewelry to go w/ each dress.
Did somebody mention traditions…… in Taiwan there are many interesting traditions. An example, the bride has to be shaded from the sun while outside. Very Interesting.
Being in Taiwan and the month of October – Typhoons are common, but thankfully we had great weather all day. Here is a sample from the day.
