Happy New Year!!!  It is 2010!

To start of the year, let me present Eric and Karina.  They wanted some updated portrait images.   We met up  while the sun was still up.

For Dallas, Tx the weather is a bit on the chilly side but since Eric and Karina live on the East cost …. no problem.

When I was looking for friends of the family who I could persuade to be my models.  I did not have to look so far.   The Wallace’s volunteered.

We met and shot pictures for about 2 hours.  We had fun and then enjoyed a good meal at Mi Cocina’s.  That was a year ago, all most to the day.

What a difference a year makes…. mainly for myself and my photography skills.  As any wedding photographer knows; you have to have a web present, maybe several; web site, a blog, Facebook, etc.  I have a website and this blog.  Funny thing, i never published that shoot.  This was brought to my attention over the course of the year.  I squirmed knowing my skills at the time would not make the grade on the website.  Lucky for me, I have had a chance to redeem myself.

I am happy to present to you the Wallace’s.  We had a great time shooting, a beautiful day to work with and the family was looking good.  By the way, we had a little lunch at the Purple Cow afterwards.

Friday afternoon I received a phone call from a good friend of our family.  It was Connie.  She asked if I could come over and grab some quick pictures for her girls-only birthday party.  I had my gear ready to go so I said, “Sure, lets do this!”

The birthday party was a Black & White theme, very cool.  So with the girls dressed in black/white … we started taking pictures.

The girls and i had fun creating shots.  Here are a few of my favorites from the night…..
